hello i just found out only hours ago that i have hpv. its a real shock to me and scared me. did not think it was a possibility. i told my bf of 7 years and he said he not surprised. he was expecting it from me.
that hurt. we broke up for a while and were BOTH with other people. he was the one who slept with this girl with a bad rep and supossedly had a disease. but thats not a possibility to him. i am at a loss.
I know that what your bf said hurt and maybe he is in a state of denial about the situation. I too, am in a similar situation, where pretty much all fingers are pointed my way.
Either way, please dont be too hard on yourself. It is very possible he may have passed it to you, as well. Its not fair for him to rule himself out of the equation. With time, you will definitely see that and it is not your fault. In now way did you ask for this or deserve it. Just remind yourself how good of a person you are and that this can essentially happen to anyone. I wish you the best of luck and take care.

Don’t blame yourself…..yeah, you have hpv, but it could have come from either of you – regardless of someones rep…….it’s important for you to know that too……you can’t blame each other and it could have come even before you guys ever got together. If you guys had sex since you’ve been back together or even before….he probably has it too…..give him the info and give him a chance to calm down….just think of your first reactions…..he’s entitled to the same…..the sooner you and he can stop blaming each other and yourselves, the sooner you can figure out how you are going to deal with it.
